Social networks – a phenomenon or the collapse of real life?
The dependence of a person on a computer is very high. Today it’s difficult to live without him if you are in a frantic pace of life. Work, entertainment – all this mixes up and exists in a small evil that lures you into its networks with its monitor. The Internet gives a person freedom and restriction thereof at the same time. All the pros and cons of the Internet can be listed for a very long time, and without reaching a consensus, to the middle ground.
Taking the first indecisive steps in the world wide web, we don’t suspect what kind of drug this can be for our brain. Starting with the registration of mail, we are gaining more and more new opportunities, getting close to the absolute evil – social networks. Films are made about them (even David Fincher could not get past the Facebook theme), they are parodied in cartoons (hello to the animated series South Park with its series about zero friends), they are talked about in the streets about them. This is their phenomenon that they try to be everywhere.
Living with an avatar is easy, it’s still a virtual life. Here you can do everything – watch a video, listen to audio, register in a meeting, chat with people on the other side of the Earth. Over time, it is so addictive that it is impossible to live without social networks. If earlier students preferred to sleep in pairs, now with the help of technological progress, without leaving the audience, you can get into your account and plunge into another world. It’s difficult to live without social networks, but they limit our development, our being.
So what is the phenomenon of social networks? Probably, in them a person can feel like who he wants to be. This is precisely the subtlety of the creators of social networks. The same “Vkontakte” can already do almost everything, it remains only to learn how to raise children and cook food on this site. Let on the forum the image of a person is hidden behind a small picture, in social networks he already appears as a person. The questionnaire is created either instantly, or filled over time by adding answers to standard questions. This profile man lives, he breathes it. Changes statuses, adds photos, comments on the actions of others. It’s easy to touch the idol, as often these very idols have their own avatar. It’s not shameful to flaunt a friend: “Pavel Durov added me as a friend today!” Although life will not change much from this, it will nevertheless become brighter and warmer for a moment.
What can you love social networks for? For infinity and certain freedoms. A simple example from life – in our small town, many do not make posters, since Vkontakte allows you to invite friends to the virtual advertising of an event. And well, people are gathering!
And social networks are a source of troubles in the workplace. The boss tries to throw your monitor with his stern eye, and God forbid there will be something about Odnoklassniki, Vkontakte, or Facebook! Although there is an opinion that work with social networks is slower, without them it does not go at all.
What is the difference between each network? Probably in its uniqueness, which is a phenomenon. Odnoklassniki is more accessible to the older generation, although all sorts of unnecessary services began to appear there. Facebook is more focused on Western consumers. Nevertheless, the VKontakte site remains the closest to the Russian soul, where young people spend more time than at concerts, meetings of dawn, or some gatherings …
Social networks broke into our community extremely quickly, sweeping away everything on its merciless path! It becomes interesting when we forget about our real desires and fully delve into the virtual world …
